Day 1 - Wednesday Night
We had British Studies in the morning and by 1 we were heading to London to jump on the Eurostar to Paris! We arrived in Paris around 7 and immediately headed to grab dinner in the Latin Quarter. (A short bus ride there) The Latin Quarter is full of bars and restaurants. Waiters would stand outside of the restaurant and try to get customers. It was funny because they'd basically cat call you to get you to eat at their restaurant.Grabbing a quick glass of wine before jumping on the Eurostar

Day 2 - Thursday Versailles
On Thursday we made our way to Versailles, located just on the edge of Paris. Once we arrived we were ready for lunch, so we grabbed some sandwich stuff and a bottle of wine to share between the six of us. We ate our lunch just down the road from the Palace. After lunch we went to the Palace and made our way through the Palace and eventually walked through the gardens. We also went to Marie Antionettes Chateau and her cottages. There are no words to describe Versailles, it was just AMAZING!
For dinner we went back to the Latin Quarter, grabbed a drink in a piano bar and walked along the river.

Day 3: Friday Walking
Friday three of us headed to the Arc de Triumph in the morning, then made our way to the Eiffel Tower to grab lunch with Ellie and Julie. The weather was just gorgeous, when we arrived at the Eiffel Tower early we decided to catch a nap on the lawn by the tower. After lunch in a cafe we parted ways and the three of us (Me, Riley and Melissa) walked to the Opera house and we had made plans with Ellie and Julie to meet up again at the Louvre. When we got the Louvre we found out that if you show your student ID they'll let you in (they also did this at Versailles)

Day 4: Saturday Run Around
Riley and I decided we'd head to Sacre Coeur Basilique, Pere Lachaise Cemetery, and the Luxembourg Gardens and Lock Bridge for Saturday. Sacre Coeur was just amazing, it was ontop of a hill looking down at Paris. Pere Lachaise Cemetery holds alot of famous graves, one of which is Oscar Wilde's grave. Then we went to the Luxembourg Garden for lunch. We grabbed baguets, cheese, meat and wine and sat under the shade while we people watched. After lunch we walked around Notre Dame and found the Lock Bridge. The Lock Bridge is full of padlocks where couples would write their names on the locks and put them on the bridge. After you do the padlock you throw one of the keys in the river. Its all quite romantic. Once we were done on Lock Bridge, Riley and I decided to slowly make our way back to our hotel so we could get ready to go on the river boat cruise and eat dinner under the Eiffel Tower with our friends.

Day 5: Sunday Harlaxton
Overall, Paris was amazing! I did everything I set out to do while I was there. To be in such a beautiful city with some of your best friends was a blessing and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm so glad I am studying abroad and every day I wake up and think about how lucky I am to be here.
