When we arrived we met some friends from back home and went out to a pub. The next day we decided to go shopping...and boy did we go shopping! We shopped til we dropped. That night we decided to go out on the town...well that didn't exactly happen. BUT we met some really cute...I mean cool Aussies. The second day we decided to be a little easier on ourselves and just stroll around and see some sites. My friend Julie and I ended up getting a Hostel on our last night and met some great guys who are in a band called "The Mother Black Caps." Check out the link below and listen to some of their music. They're great guys from Manchester who have offered to show Julie and I around if we ever decide to make our way up there. (moral of the story is to network as often as you can when traveling)
I'm having a blast here and I don't know if I'll ever be able to leave. This weekend I'm staying in Grantham, hopefully I'll be able to walk around and get some pictures of Harlaxton Village and Grantham.
